The Sculpture Garden at the Walker Art Center

I remember one of my favorite places to go in high school was the Sculpture Garden at the Walker Art Center in downtown Minneapolis. The Jenny Holzer benches used to be my favorite thing. During a visit today it was great to see how it had grown, both physically wider and taller, encompassing more city blocks and the trees touching higher in the sky. It was exciting to see new work from Dan Graham and they still had one of my favorite pieces from the original opening of the park in 1988, "Prophecy of the Ancients" by Brower Hatcher.
